The Boys 08 Red team had a huge win this weekend at the Davis Premier Cup! The boys competed in a 12 team tournament with 3 brackets of 4 teams each. They dominated their bracket with 7 points and earned the #1 seed! Their bracket hosted two other premier state teams; BUSC and Mavericks.

In the Championship match they faced Briceno, yet another Premier/State team. Regular time ended at 0-0. They game went into extra time, where they pulled off an exciting 1-0 victory, with a goal by Bubbacar Mane in the second period of extra time! The Consolation game was between Mavericks (Premier/State division) and National Premier League (NPL) team, Almaden FC. Alamden won in the consolation game over Mavericks. The boys and Coach Rick Hewko did an amazing job in bringing the squad through for the win!
